Spring has finally arrived in Charlotte, bringing warmer days and the perfect excuse to refresh your home! Time to Freshen Up! Spring is in the Air

The Charlotte weather roulette seems to finally be ready to move past the winter cold - thank goodness! I am pretty sick of having to defrost my car and wear so many layers. For the next few weeks we get the fun back and forth of wearing a sweatshirt to leave and shorts to go home.

As spring time comes into full affect, there are a few things around your house that you should keep front of mind to keep your property in top shape! Whether you are looking to get the most value out of an upcoming sale, or just to maintain its value. These are 3 quick tips to get your process started:

1. Refresh Landscaping: It is a great time to aerate your yard and add fertilizers/weed controls. I originally started calling around companies but some of the quotes I have received makes me think this is going to be a DIY project!

2. HVAC Service: I like to get the spring/summer maintenance completed in the early spring to give me the peace of mind to make it through the gruel July/August timeframe. I had a system go out during the heat of summer before and never again do I want that experience lol.

3. Spring Cleaning: Honestly this might be might favorite of the list. Going through drawers of t-shirts that I ‘might’ wear again but clearly never do. Or deep cleaning the dust because now there is more sunlight throughout the home.

Spring time in the Queen City also means outdoor sports are in full swing! If you have not had the pleasure of making it out to a Charlotte FC game then you are absolutely missing out! Personally I think these next few weeks are the best time to go because the weather is just immaculate - the July and August games can get pretty toasty even when the sun goes down!
